We Need Your Help

Posted on | March 26, 2012 | No Comments

We would like to have a booth during the Saving Our Sisters event at the MS Coast Coliseum on May 5. This event brings teen girls, their mothers, grandmothers, aunts, community and business leaders, and other concerned women together. It’s a day of inspiration, teaching, motivation, and uninhibited conversations on many topics about preventing teen pregnancy and making good choices for their lives.

How can you help? The Pearl Sponsor is $500 and that allows us to have (8) :30s tagged spots, (10) live mentions, logo on WJZD website and banner and booth at the event.

If you are interested in sponsoring all or part of the $500 needed, please contact our office at (228) 897-8958.

We love spending time with volunteers – preparing them to meet the needs of the clients coming to our center.

We spent Friday evening and Saturday with each other, learning the workings of our pregnancy care center.

Welcome aboard!

Boy Gives From the Heart

Posted on | January 30, 2012 | No Comments

Today a sugar container was delivered to us by a local pastor. He said a young boy in his congregation heard about the Baby Bottle Boomerang and wanted to give all the change he had.

This is better than sugar – a little boy gave all he had.

Thank you!

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday

Posted on | January 24, 2012 | No Comments

Sunday we celebrated Sanctity of Human Life in our local churches. We were able to report 167 client visits, 12 of which were abortion-minded, 9 of the 12 changed their minds, the gospel was presented 21 times with 4 salvations and 1 re-dedication.

Thank you for sharing in our victories.

Standing for Life

Posted on | December 15, 2011 | No Comments

In the state of Mississippi the average cost of an abortion is $600. In 2009 (the latest statistics found) 2,438 abortions were performed in Mississippi ($1,480,800). About 3,300 abortions are performed each day in the United States.
From January 3 to November 30, 2011 Sav-A-Life provided 682 pregnancy tests, 395 were positive and 109 were abortion minded/vulnerable. There were 35 professions of faith and 9 rededications.

The average daily cost to run this ministry is $722. Will you make a stand for life and partner with us? You can partner by clicking the donate button.

Have a wonderful Christmas!

Thanksgiving Blessing

Posted on | December 1, 2011 | No Comments

For 51 years, Woolmarket Baptist Church, Coalville Methodist Church and St. Mary Catholic Church have held a joint Thanksgiving Service. For the past several years they have designated the love offering to the Women’s Resource Center. This year they raised $560 for the Center.

Thank you for supporting LIFE on the MS Gulf Coast.
