Church of the King Gulf Coast has donated more than 20 Thanksgiving meal boxes to Sav-A-Life to distribute to the familes we serve. We are excited to see the community want to give.
Christmas City

We had a great time sharing during Festival of Trees at Christmas City. Our tree raised $1,200 plus the $100 auction price for the tree. We lost to the Pink Heart Fund by $101. Glad so many people supported their local non-profits!

Festival of Trees

Today we raised $813.80 at Festival of Trees. Be sure to stop by tomorrow and cast your vote – the tree with the most votes wins an additional $1,000 from Ron Meyers Productions.

Sav-a-Life of the MS Gulf Coast has a tree at Festival of Trees during the Ron Myers Christmas City Gift Show in Biloxi. Ten non-profits have the honor of displaying a decorated tree. Attendees of the show can “cast their vote” by placing checks or cash in the box by the tree.
The tree will be auctioned off Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous for the Walk for Life event Saturday morning. Moving the walk to October is going to provide cooler temperatures for our walkers.

October Baby is the story of Hannah. Hannah discovers she is the product of a failed abortion. Provident Films is releasing the film on a limited basis in Mississippi and Alabama on Oct. 28.

The Peoples Bank Employees

The employees of The Peoples Bank on the Mississippi Gulf Coast over the past year selected two charities to raise funds for: the Women’s Resource Center and Gaits to Success. We are honored to have been awarded $8,225 from them this morning.
WRC will be able to minister to more than 200 clients on a monthly basis with these funds.
So from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
What A Busy Month

It has been a busy month here at Women’s Resource Center! We have steadily been seeing more and more clients and this month we have seen more than ever before! We had a total of 283 new clients and 67 of those clients were brand new . We administered 64 pregnancy tests (14 of those wer abortion minded), 9 people were saved, and 28 men came to us for help. We ask that you pray for these women as well as our volunteers and that we would be able to continue reaching our community.
